Grease Trap Cleaning & Maintenance

Grease Traps before and after cleaning

Today we carried out an emergency response to one of our customers with a blocked grease-trap. Once the phone call was received the team was on site within 35 minutes. The emergency call out was put through from a catering company based in Dublin city center.

The outlet of the trap had become blocked with solidified grease causing a spillage in the kitchen, this kitchen is only back open after the shut down so the grease had solidified over time.

To stop this from happening all grease traps should be cleaned and maintained quarterly, this will help eliminate blockages and odour issues and will keep your premises compliant with Irish Water regulations. This Grease Trap was last cleaned in February 2020, the project took our team 1 hour to complete.
