Buying a house / new property – what lies beneath?

We had a very happy customer in Cork this week who contacted us to do a residential CCTV survey of the drains under her new home before her mortgage could be released by the Bank. Within 2 days of the initial call, we had the survey completed and a comprehensive report issued to our customer. Much to the customer’s relief, the report gave a clean bill of health on the drains!

A CCTV drain survey will assess the condition of your drains, sewer pipes, manholes and AJ’s. The drain survey will identify any problems such as damaged joints, cracks, deformities, obstructions or issues with pipe gradient (sagging or backfalls). McBreen Environmental can then recommend the best methods for repairing the defects so you will know exactly the costs you may face before you buy. Or as in this case, give you the confidence to proceed with your purchase knowing that the drainage is not going to give you trouble, or lead to additional repair costs.

Our experienced CCTV technicians are trained to OS19X to MSCC5 Standards and as McBreen Environmental continuously invests in the latest CCTV technology, makes us leaders in the field of CCTV Drain Inspections & CCTV Drain Surveys.
