McBreen Environmental Shortlisted for Recycling & Waste Management Company of the Year

McBreen Environmental is proud to announce that the company has been shortlisted in the Recycling & Waste Management Company of the Year category at the eir Business Chambers Ireland Awards.

The nomination recognises the company’s continued investment in environmental services, operational innovation and sustainable waste management solutions delivered across Ireland.

Managing Director, Damien McBreen, has also been shortlisted in the Businessperson of the Year category, recognising his leadership and continued contribution to the environmental services sector.

Established in 2006, McBreen Environmental has grown into one of Ireland’s leading providers of drainage, wastewater, environmental and infrastructure services, supporting clients across commercial, industrial, utilities and facilities management environments.

Over the past 12 months, the business has continued expanding its operational capabilities through investment in specialist equipment, trenchless rehabilitation technologies, preventative maintenance programmes and environmentally responsible waste processing solutions.

A major focus has also been placed on sustainability and resource recovery through Breffni Organics, the Group’s dedicated waste processing facility. Through this integrated approach, fats, oils, grease, sewage and sludge are treated, screened and processed to support circular economy initiatives and reduce environmental impact.

The company has also continued strengthening digital visibility and compliance management through EDAC, providing clients with live operational updates, certification tracking and audit-ready reporting across environmental and infrastructure projects.
