Why Homeowners Choose Our No-Dig Drain Repairs?
Non-Invasive, No-Dig Repairs:
We repair damaged pipe sections internally, through existing access points, avoiding the disruption and mess of excavation. No broken driveways, no ruined gardens, no unnecessary mess.
Cost-Effective Solution:
For patch repairs, only the affected section is repaired, reducing costs compared to full pipe replacement or relining.
Fast Turnaround:
Most patch repairs are completed within hours, your drains are back in service the same day. Most drain relining for homes is also completed within the same day.
Durable & Long-Lasting:
Our resin systems form a permanent, corrosion-resistant barrier inside your existing pipe, lasting decades under normal use.
Accurate, CCTV-Led Repairs:
Every repair is guided and verified by CCTV, so you know the issue has been
properly resolved and not guessed at.

How Our No-Dig Patch Lining Works
CCTV Inspection: We begin by surveying your drain using high-resolution CCTV cameras to locate and measure the defect precisely.
Pipe Cleaning: High-pressure water jetting clears debris, roots, and buildup to prepare the surface for repair and ensure we have a full picture of any damage.
Targeted / Internal Repair or Liner Preparation: Depending on the extent of damage, we install an internal liner or apply a patch to seal and reinforce the affected section of pipe from within using a self-propelled robotic system. We position the liner precisely over the damaged area and inflate it against the pipe wall.
Curing: The resin cures (via heat, UV, or chemical process) to form a tough, structural bond inside the pipe.
CCTV Drain Inspection & Report: Once cured, we remove the packer and re-inspect the section with CCTV to confirm a complete, watertight seal.

When Full Relining or Replacement Is Better
We’ll always recommend the best solution for your situation. If your drain has multiple defects, severe deformation, or a collapsed section, a full-length CIPP relining or pipe replacement may be more suitable. Our team will advise after inspection.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is drain patch lining?
Drain patch lining is a no-dig repair method that fixes localised defects inside your drain using a resin-soaked liner that hardens in place, forming a new pipe within the old one.
How long does a patch lining repair take?
Most domestic patch repairs are completed within a few hours, depending on access and curing time.
Is drain repair/liners suitable for old pipes?
Yes, our system works effectively on older clay or cast-iron pipes as well as modern PVC systems.
Will the liner reduce water flow?
No, the liner is only a few millimetres thick and maintains full flow capacity.
Can I use my drains immediately after repair?
In most cases, yes. The pipe can usually be returned to full service within a few hours of completion.

If you have any issues with sewage just contact Mc Breens. Sinead in the office was a star for arranging everything for us and ensured that it would be sorted even though we could not be there. The guy on the lorry was exceptionally helpful and did all that was asked and more besides. And all for the original quote no extra charges. Highly recommended.

What stood out most to me was their professionalism and good manners something that goes a long way, especially these days. There was no mess left behind, and everything was left in good order before they left.
This being my second time using them, I’d have no hesitation in recommending McBreen’s to others. It’s reassuring to find a company that is reliable and consistent.

McBreen came to do our septic tank and the guy doing it was an absolute legend he went above and beyond ... unfortunately cannot remember his name as he was from one of the Baltic countries but he was so good and ensured everything was right before he left 10/10 for me ...highly recommended
