Our team carried out a wash and CCTV drainage survey for a housing development in Cork City, working on behalf of a construction client to provide clear and accurate inspection data.

Before undertaking a CCTV survey, it is essential that all pipework is properly cleaned. Any debris, silt, or construction material left in the pipes can obstruct the camera and prevent an accurate assessment of the drainage system.

For this project, our team carried out:

Pre-survey jetting of all drains
Removal of debris and build-up within the system
Preparation of both storm and foul drainage networks for inspection

This preparation ensures the CCTV survey captures clear footage and reliable condition data.

CCTV Survey to Uisce Éireann Standards

Following the cleaning works, a full CCTV survey of the drainage network was completed. The inspection was carried out in line with Uisce Éireann standards,

ensuring the system meets the requirements expected for new developments.

During the survey, our team recorded:

Pipe condition and alignment
Connections and junctions
Any defects or construction issues
Confirmation that the drainage network was functioning correctly

All findings were documented using WinCan reporting software, producing a detailed report for the client.
